I wasn’t allowed to speak to Thompson solicitors via unison, for one of my claims, although I had paid my fees. The next part of my claim, was submitted by unison, but Thompson didn’t contact me at all, they did not ask for my side of things or any evidence for me to submit, so they mixed up who the claim was about, they read paperwork and decided that was in relation to the claim, and it wasn’t, they came back with the response! ‘Although they identified my company had not treat me properly, this did not meet the threshold for criminal proceedings’ Well of course because you were looking at the wrong people.I contacted unison and informed them they at Thompsons we’re not looking at the right person and I was ignored.I joined unison as their selling point is ‘free legal advice’ but you are not allowed the legal advice unless you fit a certain criteria, and then the solicitor doesn’t ask for any evidence, unison give them 2 pieces of paper that you have submitted in other evidence, and your case isn’t even looked at properly.All the money I’ve spent thinking I would be represented properly and i was let down by these solicitors massively.
