The skid pan driving experience was great fun, but it was also tricky to drift the car. I would have appreciated clearer instructions such as with the use of diagrams or video at the beginning of the session. The instructor’s purely verbal guidance wasn’t that clear. Also, I was expecting to have the instructor sitting next to me in the car but they were sat remotely and communicated by radio which was only one-way. This should have been made clear beforehand. Although it’s an hour session you only get about 10 min at the wheel. This should be made clear too. I would recommend creating a split screen video where you can see what the steering wheel is doing and what the car and wheels are doing from an external camera. This could be sent to participants ahead of the session.
