I joined Thumber Academy in September of 2025 and financed the plan over a year (currently still paying it off). On the closing call when they tell you there’s a guarantee they don’t actually mean that because on the contract, which they rush you to sign, it says there are no refunds. For a 6-8k ticket price the only thing you’ll receive is access to zoom calls where they review your mocks calls and access to an opportunities channel where they act as the middleman and post job opportunities for the community. In my opinion this is not worth 6-8k and a lot of students I’ve talked to inside the academy agree and actually regret this. I’ve been on 3 offers, the second was was a good offer and I did make some money through it as a phone setter but unfortunately due to my TMJ condition, my jaw would shut for weeks due to the 5 hour talking days I would have on the phone so I had to leave that position and phone setting in general. I asked for a refund or an option to cancel my loan payments because due to medical reasons I was unable to continue to doing phone setting and they refused saying the contract says “no refunds”.

After over 160 days of being in this program I then got back to back messages from their finance guy names JT saying that on top of the 6k ticket price (+1k in interest) that I agreed to, they now claim I owe another 1.5k and are threatening to send me to collections if I don’t pay it. They never gave me any of the information I asked for (recording of my closing call, terms of pay agreement, etc) and all they want to do is use their sales tactics on their own students to get more money out of them. I’m a college student and most of the people in the program are young too (around 17-23) and trust me when I say I’ve talked to a lot of people in the program and most are regretting signing up. You can make money through this yes, but if you’re really interested in high ticket sales training, do not pay 8k for this, go to another academy that’s much cheaper because what they’re offering isn’t even worth 1k. Btw the first time I made a little bit of money from high ticket sales and I was on a high from it, they asked me to write a review, so most of these reviews are probably from when people were ecstatic about their first dollar in sales. Trust me when I say it’s not worth it, it’s not as easy as they say it is, do not join!
