I cancelled my Tinder subscription after using the app for only a short time, yet the weekly charges kept going through anyway. I didn’t notice immediately, and by the time I realized, a significant amount of money had already been taken.
I contacted Tinder to report the issue, but the response was very delayed. While I was waiting, the debit orders were still going off. Eventually we received a short message saying there would be no refund — with no explanation and no apology.
From a customer’s perspective, this feels extremely unfair and honestly resembles a scam. A cancelled subscription should not continue charging people, and simply refusing a refund without properly addressing the issue is unacceptable. I expect this to be reviewed and the charges made after cancellation refunded.
