I've often wondered how the bits of non stick pieces off my old pans was affecting my family and me. I'm so glad I read an article on just this. The non stick pieces cause cancer, kidney disease and thyroid problems. The pieces are toxic and no one should be purchasing and cooking with the non stick cookware.
