Update 15/09/2021Our parcel is now stuck in Tallaght since the 23rd of June with no end in sight. We can't get it released at all. It's a disgraceful service. I have never come across a delivery service that's holds on to your parcels and thinks it's ok to give an excuse that they are processing a large volume of parcels. We were told it cleared customs in mid July and then told a month later it hadn't cleared customs. Every response from them is unhelpful, and we continue to be told that a high volume of parcels, Brexit and VAT changes are causing the delay but no other carriers appear to have an issue that is this serious! This is their core business and they can't deliver on it. Issue is now going on for 87 days... & it’s now mid September! It’s just astounding…. Mobile App updates every day saying ‘Tallaght - Shipment arrived at TNT location’ it must be going around in a never ending loop in Tallaght! Soon it will be a 1/4 of a Year since the goods were shipped. It took 2 days to get to Tallaght from the UK and it is now on a shelf there for 85 days. That’s an astonishing poor record for a delivery service……87 DAYS IN TOTAL, SHAMEFUL!!!!!! Think carefully before you use TNT and be prepared to wait a very long time. This post will be updated regularly until this matter is resolved so future customers can be fully aware of what to expect when using TNT.
