My Company sent Christmas packages to customers this year through TNT from the UK. These were sent on 13/12/21. These did not arrive before Christmas. I was told there was a backlog in customs In January " some " deliveries were made and two were held in customs. i was told they could not control this issue. On January 27th they were released by customs. One of the two was delivered to Monaghan. The other that was to be deliver within 20 k of the Tallaght depot is still not delivered. i call every second day. On the 16 of February they mentioned customs and I said I am looking at the tracking information. They then said " oh I don't know it may be a back log and we have hired extra staff". i get a lot of shipments. TNT are consistently the worst. The support network is non existent and the billing is criminal. There is no formula for calculating duty. Late last year they charged me duty of £800 and goods that were valued less than that. i have written, called and written again and to have received no feedback. Boycott TNT DHL and Fedex. Since they became the same company they are Dreadful.
