NEVER USE TNT

Has TNT gone out of business? They dumped my order from the UK in a warehouse in Dublin. It has been there since 4 February. Their support says they cannot help me. They said it is awaiting customs clearance. I think that is probably a lie. I see that many others are in the same situation. I called all the ombudsmen and consumer help companies and they can give no help. This is crazy. Isn't anyone in charge anymore?Can someone please help?March 8 2021Update:After more than 3 weeks of non action I had a call from TNT asking for VAT and customs duty which I promptly paid. I was told it would definitely be delivered that day or the next. I finally got it four days later.Update July 2021About three months after I had paid the VAT and customs charges TNT SENT ME ANOTHER BILL FOR THE SAME AMOUNT! Luckily I had kept the receipt that I had demanded they email me back in March. After another couple of weeks they emailed back 'apologising for the inconvenience'.So don't deal with TNT , but if you are forced into it, KEEP THE RECEIPTS.Update August 12 2022It is unbelieveble but TNT has sent me the same bill for the third time! Luckily, I have kept all the correspondence.They are either terminally incompetent or else trying to get money fraudulently. I am going to report them to the authorities. (Not that I anticipate anybody will do anything in this 'don't care' society.NEVER EVER USE TNT.
