I have spent over $100 on non-consumable content in Toca Boca. However, when I got a new device for my daughter and myself, I discovered that over 50+ purchased items were missing and the app was asking me to repurchase them.Toca Boca used to have a “Restore Purchases” button, but it has been removed. After checking recent reviews and online discussions about “missing purchases,” it is clear that this is a recurring issue affecting many users.I contacted Toca Boca support, and while they manually restored purchases on one device, this is not a permanent fix. Their system does not properly link non-consumable purchases to Google Play accounts, meaning if you get a new device, reset, or reinstall the app, you may lose everything again.I will be escalating this to Google Play Support for a refund and further investigation, as this practice violates Google Play’s policies on non-consumable purchases, which should be permanently tied to the user’s account.I do not recommend making purchases in this app until this issue is permanently fixed. If you experience missing purchases, contact Google Play customer support directly, as Toca Boca only applies temporary patches instead of resolving the root issue.
