Tokopedia is meant to be used by locals, just like another Indonesian marketplace like Bukalapak and Blibli, and another Southeast Asian marketplace like Shopee and Lazada, so you will not find any English options. For "scamming" there are almost none existence in my experience of using Tokopedia in past 4 years, just make sure to record when you unbox your package and tokopedia's customer service would either refund your money or arrange replacement with the seller. And of course you will not find any customer service number as we're more advanced, you can literally chat with customer service, just tap that menu smh. Our apps (any Indonesian unicorns and government made) are just integrated so much, it's ease the locals but I find sometimes it will difficult for foreigners, so just learn Bahasa Indonesia, prepare your passport ID, and learn our mechanism, if you can't just stick to your Ebay or Amazon.
