This translation agency does not pay its linguists!I have been working for Tolingo as a freelancer for about 7 years, but it seems their operational strategy of lowering rates and speeding up deadlines has not delivered good results. Since Oct. 25, I have noticed slight delays in my monthly payments, which were initially solved after a couple of weeks at the latest.
My legitimate payment requests seemed to anger anyone in the agency, so last January workflow suddenly decreased without a reason. The worst part is that I am still waiting for the payment for the jobs done in December (+2 months of delay) and in January (+ 1 month). After contacting them repeatedly, this is the only answer I receive: we don't know why this is happening, but we appreciate you as a linguist.
I warn all the linguists to be careful with this company which shows no respect for our work and I invite the customers to look for more serious companies!
