I received a 'sorry we missed you card' so went to the Toll website to check the Consignment No. and find out where the Toll Collection Point is that I need to go to in order to pick up the parcel. After entering in the Consignment Number, I received an 'Unfortunately we weren't able to find anything in our systems' message. I called Toll and told them my issue. They asked that I give them the Consignment Number. I gave them the Number on the card. The Number had been written in a highly legible way; there was no chance of getting it wrong. The representative also tried with the Consignment Number that I provided - same issue. I then suggested that if I give my address they should be able to look everything up this way. No, I was informed, this cannot be done. What system relies on a HANDWRITTEN Consignment Number, which, as in this case, can be inadvertently mistakenly written? The system they are using is not fit for purpose. Unfortunately, it would appear by the rating, that this is just one of many problems with this delivery service. If I could give ZERO stars I would!
