This is an amazing program and I am so glad that I joined. My journey with The Toolroom Academy started with the D. Ramirez Remix Masterclass. Getting feedback from a legendary producer like D, was absolutely incredible. He and Cal "Keffi" gave me great insight to what my productions were lacking, as well as giving me the knowledge and confidence to become a better producer.
The Artist Development Program is very in-depth and it gives you the guidelines for building your brand. It's a step-by-step guide that is helping me reach another level in my music career. This can be an overwhelming aspect of the industry but the other classmates help one another giving feedback and constant motivation. Its like I'm part of a family here. The instructors work in the A&R side and know exactly what labels look for and how to help us reach our full potential. I couldn't recommend a better program.

What a ride that was! Twelve weeks full steam ahead. ROI and neatly organised course. I believe the principles taught work for both beginners and more advanced producers. The course provides a clear blueprint for the production process of any genre, and if you’re not too stubborn, the personal feedback helps you deliver a quality finished track. All classmates produced solid tracks; house, tech-house, techno. The weekly live sessions, though long for my attention span, cover sufficient information presented in an enjoyable way by the tutors, Q&A included. This course was exactly what I needed. There was accountability, it was tough and the weekly personalized feedback videos from the tutors (Ben Remember and Pete Griffiths) were constructive and helpful. I have tried to learn other ways - but watching online tutorials at my own pace hasn't worked for me and my learning style. As a beginner, I found the course tough at times, but being able to receive weekly constructive feedback from the tutors kept me going and really helped my growth. You can take this course at any level which is great. I came out knowing a whole lot more within 3 months and I am so grateful for that. The tutors are super experienced in the tech house and house music market, and the knowledge they passed on was legit. The best part of the course were the weekly personalized feedback videos - they did not go easy on me, which is exactly what I needed to get where I am today and for my future making music. The tutors were also super keen on helping and passionate about the music. You can tell they love teaching! They were able to take info from my questionnaire about myself and apply it to helping me learn which helped connect areas where I struggled. I have already signed up for another course at Toolroom which starts next month.
This is a really good course. There is lots to learn and take in which is great. I made a track from scratch having not made any tracks before and the help throughout has been fantastic. I want to say a big thank you to everyone at Toolroom and also to Mya, Pete and Ben for all of the help 😊

Just finished the Creativity Unlocked course and indeed, my creativity has been unlocked! D. Ramirez and Pete Griffiths are amazing lecturers. They taught us amazing techniques that have greatly improved my production workflow and approach to making house music. On top of that, they helped us build a track from scratch, and thanks to their continuous feedback, I was able to finish my best track yet. I highly recommend it for intermediate to advanced producers who want a massive improvement to their production skills.
The instruction in these courses is top notch. The weekly lessons offer a huge amount of detail across a broad range of tech house styles. The feedback is personalized, and very specific to suggested changes. My understanding of how to make house music has grown so much over the past year with both the Production Certificate and Creativity Unlocked. I feel like I've learned how to make the music I want at a standard that is high enough to be released on labels I enjoy. Both of these courses are highly recommended.
