DO NOT BUY ACCOUNTS WITH TOPONE! You’ve been warned. I would not wish this company on my worst enemy. I was fooled by all the cool ads and the forced 5 star reviews. They seemed like a good company…at first. I planned on opening additional accounts with them but this company is lowdown and dirty. If there’s ever an issue YOU will be blamed. They do not care about you as a customer, they care only for your money and they hope you continually blow accounts. I’m writing this review cause I don’t want you to go through what I went through.

A friend of mine told me she canceled her accounts with them cause they were stealing from her. In other words, she knew tick for tick what she should’ve made and TopOne always paid her less or denied that they owed her (I saw it with my own eyes). My other friend canceled because of the 10 second rule (this rule they keep hidden and will never tell you. It’s how they stop from paying out so many people). I thought my friends were crazy! I told them to stay with TopOne and I explained that they are great, but I was wrong and my friends were right.

Merging with Tradovate has been a nightmare. It was frustrating to get my account, my login, everything. I contacted support about an issue with my account. I spoke to Ash. I have NEVER in my entire existence had someone be so rude to me for NO REASON. Ash basically kept calling me a liar and every time I would ask a question Ash would reply “It’s your fault.” I kid you not. Ash was so rude I thought I was dreaming up the interaction, but unfortunately it was real life. I could not figure out why this support agent was so rude. I didn’t deserve that treatment as I was very kind to Ash during our interaction.

I’m new to the futures trading world and I’m still trying to navigate it. I finally got my account info and logged in to the simulation. When I looked at the account number it showed a different account number than the one on my dashboard, so I assumed it was a practice account. I mistakenly entered a 9 hour trade where I lost $1.2k. I had no idea I even entered a trade! The platform was so confusing to me. I entered the trade at 1:45am (I don’t even remember being on the platform at that time! I’m too tired to think about trading at almost 2am) and I fell asleep. I woke up went about my day, then checked my platform around 11am. I saw that my account was down and I was confused. I figured maybe when I was pressing buttons I hit buy or sell. And maybe this happened because I was using my iPad instead of laptop. I legit told myself I have to spend the weekend going over YouTube classes to understand the platform. Yes my account was down (on accident) But I wasn’t worried cause it was a practice (demo) account.

I contacted Topone telling them I’m ready to trade from my real account. Ash told me that I already made a trade. I said no I did not! Ash called me a liar and said yes I did. Even after asking additional questions Ash completely ignored me. Who makes a trade at 1am and then stops the trade the next day at 11am? Someone that doesn’t know what they are doing. Not someone that is lying to get a free reset. I have no problem paying for a reset. It’s $40! But it’s the principle of it all.

The manager Oscar wrote me. In his email, he basically called me a liar and said that ALL of the info was there and that I made a mistake so it’s not their fault but mine. I’ve never received such a rude email in my life. What kind of company is this?!

I understand that merging with tradovate must’ve been difficult for Topone but I received nothing about how to get started. I literally had to navigate everything on my own. A simple get started email would’ve been nice. They assumed that I was a seasoned futures trader who would immediately understand how the new platform works!

This company is the worst and because of what they did to me (and others like me) they will not last long in this business. I speak this truth into the atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a good prop firm use LUCID (I’m not affiliated with them in any way just heard good things and the account I currently have rocks!) I signed up for an account with Lucid and I know a handful of people that sings their praises. There are top notch and great with their customers.

DO NOT BUY ACCOUNTS WITH TOPONE!! You’ve been warned! If there’s ever an issue YOU will be blamed, not them.

EDITED TO ADD: Look everyone! Even their reply is rude. Instead of being sorry for how I was treated by their customer service they chose to reply with this automated crap. I even emailed the manager and got no reply. Seriously, run for your life!! This company is horrible. They are a new company and I guess they are needing the money. I do believe everything happens for a reason. I wouldn’t be with another firm had they not been an awful company.
