The plans are confusing and difficult to understand. For example they list 40gb of data, and also mention 15gb of netflix data. Is this in addition to the 40gb or already included? They don't say. The top up process is arduous and takes ages to work through. Once you run out of data it is impossible to connect to the internet to top up, you have to find a Hotspot somewhere to top up, that's what I call an own goal. The digicel app is virtually useless and often won't connect and the most important info you could want - how much data do I have left and when does it run out is buried away. The coverage areas are impossible to clarify, which islands are covered if I buy a SIM in Grenada? I was sent a promotional code for my next top up, I applied it in the period of validity according to all of the small print, and after going through the whole sales process it doesn't work. That is borderline dishonest business practice. The data connectivity has generally been poor to ok, I temporarily switched to my UK Vodafone service (to top up) and Vodafone was 3 to 4 times as fast as the Digicel service. Overall this feels like the user experience we had in the UK in the early 2000s. Overall I rate Digicel as poor to just serviceable.
