Nathan the fitter was absolutely brilliant . He is very knowledgeable and knows and carries out his job very well . Can’t fault his service . If I could score the two parts of this process (ordering and fitting ) Nathan would be getting 5+ stars .
The ordering/ admin side did not go particularly well. I ordered my tower on Easter Monday . I understand it was a bank holiday but even so the company were advertising next day service and was displaying available dates for that week . On the Tuesday afternoon I called them to check they would be fitting my tow bar on the preferred date I had chosen of the Wednesday. I was told that wouldn’t be possible but was informed I could be fitted in the Friday morning . We really needed to use our trailer on the Friday and on the Sunday for a charity event I was organising. I accepted the Friday morning slot and was told the fitter would be with me first thing . We emptied the car per the instructions in readiness for the fitting. At 9.45 Friday morning I received a phone call to say the fitter wouldn’t be coming as the tow car had not been delivered ! As you can imagine I was unhappy with this news particularly as not having the use of the trailer would potentially have a negative impact on my charity event . I had asked for some form of compensation for the loss to the charity but never received a response.
I agreed to make an appointment for the following Thursday but stressed it must be be completed by 2.15 as I had to leave to pick up my grandson from school by 2.30. Moving onto the Wednesday afternoon I rang the company to check if my appointment was happening only to be told the fitting was booked for the afternoon the next day . I said I could and would not accept this appointment as I had made it very clear I needed the work completed by 2.15. The last I spoke to agreed to try to rearrange the fitters diary so I was first on the list . I was grateful and relieved she was able to do this . Nathan called me later that day to confirm when he would arrive the next day . He arrived at 8am promptly and carried out the fitting swiftly and competently .
So my experience was in two parts o e good and one not so good
