I have been using Tradecert since October 2025 and it really has been a game changer. The NIC software is sluggish and the new update has added more friction than I care to deal with. I've tried several different softwares over the years, which have been more tolerable, but ultimately is boils down to this; writing up certs is tedious.Tradecert caught my eye with a recent project. We had 5x 3phase boards being replaced with various other testing being carried out. Weeks of long days and even later nights, with of course the certs being required ASAP. Meaning even later nights inputting results and ticking boxes.The AI import is a game changer!Photo not great? This seems to just figure it out. I think I've only seen a few errors with Fusebox TPN boards but otherwise, the import function is fantastic. It makes intelligent choices and saves a ridiculous amount of time. It's hard to speculate exactly how much time it's saved, since every EIC or EICR can vary wildly in the amount of time it will take but here's a rough outline from some recent works I've done.Anecdotally, if a cert took me an hour before. It's anywhere from 10-20minutes depending now. That's if I'm sitting down with a sheet of paper and manually doing things. If that sheet has been filled out on a form? It's basically instant. No double handing the information. AI import - double check and get on with life. Or, picture of the board/previous cert. Complete whilst test - done.Lets say I took 2 hours a week on certs and now they take me 40minutes per week. Scale that over 52weeks for the year and you've saved 4,160minutes, or ~70hrs a year. 3 days saved. That's just some rough napkin maths and it depends largely on what comes in... but it adds up. That's time saved do literally ANYTHING else. And this is before we start uses other features of the app.On the October job, I ran into an problem with the import feature struggling with 3 phase boards and the numbering. I messaged the online help at around 10pm (yep, night time) and within about 5 minutes someone called me to help troubleshoot the issue. Acknowledged it was a known issue at the time with how the boards are labelled and how the AI figures out what to pull in. Then helped me get around it. This seems to have since been fixed but it really was next level to get a call back that quick, that late at night. Same again recently - had an issue. Used the online help and someone was dealing with my issue more or less instantly.I really can not praise the software and service enough. I've put colleagues onto it and they all been equally impressed.
