I received an email from them about an abandoned trademark (rejected by the USPTO), and they created a sense of fear and urgency by saying that the State of Florida is having them file a trademark, using the same words as my rejected mark, for all 50 states, and once it is finalized I would be unable to use that name on my products. Very crafty.I was unable to find the Florida application.Also, the LinkedIn page for TrademarkOptimum says company size is 51-200 employees but they don't have a single employee on LinkedIn. Now, how many lawyers do you know who DON'T have a LinkedIn profile which is also listed as an employee on the company's page?I responded to the email challenging the idea that Florida could get the trademark, and saying I don't have any money for their legal fees.
