Avoid dealing with these thieves

Used them for years until they decided to implement a ridiculous system in which the buyer has to pay 5% of the item's value for buyer protection, which is a tough sell given that competitors like Blocket offer it for free and a much better established company with many more services like PayPal charges about half of that. FUN FACT! Even if you opt to pay with PayPal, in order to use their buyer protection, Tradera will still force their 5% fee on you, even if you are not interested in their buyer protection.Which brings us to the biggest issue with this website, THAT THE 5% BUYER PROTECTION FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE NO MATTER WHAT. And when I say no matter what, I really mean it. I bought an item for 15 000kr and paid 750kr extra of buyer protection that was forced upon me even though I used PayPal and the seller cancelled the deal for their own reasons, completely unrelated to me. I still wanted to buy the item, but the seller decided to not sell it, so I had to get a refund. Except I only got 15 000 back and, when contacting Tradera, they told me that they would be keeping the 750kr, even though it was the seller who cancelled and gave me a refund and their buyer protection was not used.Thank God I paid with PayPal, as I was able to open a dispute and get my 750kr back from those thieves. Avoid at all costs unless you can meet the seller locally and buy with Swish.EDIT: Thank you for replying to my review and completely ignoring my main issue with your business. Guess that one wasn't as easy to defend, so you didn't even bother, eh?
