I selected great for several reasons but could not select excellent for a few. First, the interface is well designed and intuitive. The available features, while not the most extensive in the industry, provide me with the tools I need without the clutter of a bazillion options to wade through. Additionally, the continuing development of the platform is an encouraging sign, and engaging your customers to direct that development is admirable. Moreover, the serving of data in a cloud based platform is one of my main reasons for choosing Tradovate, as well as, your partnerships with high quality companies such as Top Step.As with any development, it comes with some growing pains. From the users perspective we rarely praise the good things, but don't hesitate to condemn the bad. The recent color change for example, I for one like the new black interface, but rely heavily on the histogram feature. Without color control of the histogram, it's impossible to see using the black mode. Additionally, I use range charts with a VWAP Bands indicator. The range chart frequently exceeds the maximum number of candles allow for accurately displaying the VWAP. I must often scroll out past the entire day to reload the VWAP in order to make it correctly display. Additionally, flipping back and forward between charts is a bit frustrating because the zoom level is constantly changing. Remembering the zoom level for a particular chart would be great. Perhaps some energy can go into providing more control on existing features. For example, each product tab has the ticker symbol and the title bar duplicates this data without anyway to turn it off. The title bar allows product details and trading to be turned off, why not product name? Additionally, news feeds pop out a flag into the trading area that impact my trading process. Why not provide an option to turn off news feed or automatic flagging pop out.
