Went with my family after planning this trip for almost a year. I decided to use Trails of Indochina instead of cruising as I thought that having more days in one place will help learning the culture and customs of each place visited. We visited, Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi Ann, Ho Chi Min, Angkor Watt in Cambodia and Bangkok in Thailand.Pros of the trip:-Trails of an indochina had somebody picked us up and drop us at each airport and fast tracked us.-Sunny the guide in Angkor Watt was amazing and the chofer was great as well.- Ha, the guide in Hanoi was very good.-Guides and choferes were always in time to pick us up and willing to help us.Cons of the trip- Hotels were far away and very old looking- Some of the places that they take you, are tourist traps, don’t trust the agency, do your research.- Most of the guides do not speak English well, it is very hard to understand them.- We saw tourist taken to places that we went on our own with their guides. So unfair that they knew of those spots and we were taken to tourist traps.
