We re bigTD fans having had the most amazing South Africa trip previously , amazing scenery , every day an adventure finished off with incredible safari . Unfortunately Sri Lanka did not come anywhere near .Sri Lanka began badly with a 10 minute trip to a fishing village ,where the smell put us off fish for the trip ,followed by a sleep in the hotel lobby as we waited for rooms to be made ready , surely we could have visited somewhere nearby whilst this was happening, the next days became a Temple fest ( 5 I think) and we Became truly templed out , this needs looking at ,and reducing ,as all were very similar , hotels were lovely , food looked amazing at both breakfast and dinner times ,buffet style , but was Luke warm at best in all venues bar the Blackpool Hotel ,these meals became something to be got through and not the pleasurable experience you would expect ,the days were long with dense forestation on both sides of the road and little to see. I was really looking forward to the safari part but again the dense vegetation meant little to see for long periods and nothing like our South African adventure, We’re now home yesterday and personally I’m quite disappointed with the trip ,
