Slovenia in April 2026. Travel dept changed dates in November, giving an option to cancel, which I didn’t want to. Then in January 2026 they then changed destination airport (Venice)to a 2.5 bus trip to/from hotel, and also later flight time meaning arrival to hotel would be well after midnight (making “day 1” of a short break a total right off). I would never have signed up for the revised travel plans that required such a long bus ride and reduced time at destination so I cancelled. They won’t refund me or give a credit note for my €200 deposit. Disappointed in how they handled the matter, using their t&c as a means to get out of refund.Dear TD, I respectfully point out that your reply to me is inaccurate. On 12/11/25 you changed the flight date Dublin to Trieste (but not the destination airport) with a delay of one day, giving travellers the option to cancel and I chose not to as the change of date was acceptable to me. However on 28/1/26 you then changed the outbound Dublin flight from the original destination airport of Trieste to Venice - a much further bus ride from Venice to Slovenia and it was also a later flight time meaning we’d arrive to hotel past midnight and day one would be a write-off and less time in Slovenia. I do feel that three changes by TD which negatively impact a short break was very disappointing.
