A third call revealed that emails had been sent to a ‘holding’ account that was unmonitored. After some apologies, I was provided a new email to send the files. I waited online until I received confirmation of receipt. I then waited longer for the airline to process returnable taxes, finally contacting them to understand the delay and resolve issues with a third party. After 11 months, just before the claim would expire, it was finally paid.
