My wife and I had a 2 hour spa access and treatment followed by afternoon tea. The hotel is an old library on the Commercial Rd. Despite the urban surroundings the hotel is wonderfully quirky. Different furnishings, loads of pictures and nick nacks on every spare table, shelf and cabinet. The spa area was small but welcoming with a large sauna. My wife had a 30 min massage whilst I opted for the Turkish bath. What a wonderful first experience.
After we cooled down and got changed we went to the restaurant for tea. Great service and the scones were delicious. I would highly recommend it.
