It's just enough direction and pragmatism to help others learn the hows and what to practice to become a good guide, but also teaches you what it means to be a good guide. And by meaning, I mean the self-direction this training requires, actually helps you understand and navigate the embodiment and energy it takes to become a good guide. It's on us to practice and be in nature, to then help others practice and be in nature -- brilliant! I highly recommend if you feel naturally pulled to this certification to do it.
