My Certificate of Certified Forest Bathing Guide, through Treeming.org - The Forest Bathing Organisation, with Jörg as my Facilitator and Virtual Forest Guide and fellow eco warrior, was the most enjoyable higher learning educational experience of my life. If only University courses were delivered in such a powerfully holistic, relatable, easily accessible way for people interested in becoming better, rather than bitter, to work towards healing the collective wound of the unconscious, by embracing the mysteries of the forest, the secrets of the jungle, the wisdom of the desert, along with the other sacred animistic symbolisms of mother nature, and working on our own healing through that which we are but a mere piece of .... mother nature, albeit a very destructive piece of the jigsaw puzzle, that should protect and nurture mother nature as we have so much to learn from her. So, on the brink of imminent global climate catastrophe, I want to share my humble gratitude with Jörg and his team for their amazing course and qualification. I plan to use what I have learnt through Jörg's laid back, passionate, easy to understand educational instructions, in my current job as a Lived Experience Suicide Bereavement Support Worker. I discovered after having lost my first husband to suicide, there is so much healing to be found in connecting with mother nature, God, and spiritual practices, when it comes to grief and loss. The more people on earth who are made aware of the type of earth loving, humanity saving, soul nourishing education, taught in this course, the better off our world would be. With much humble gratitude to Jörg and the Treeming Team. Keep up the amazing work. (By the way that was also the most mindful, thoughtful, and reflective "report card" I have ever received for any course work I have completed, and the Certificate of Certification is the prettiest I have ever received so it now sits atop my university parchments. Treeming is the sort of organization i would like to see more numeric in a modern world. They teach the essential connection to nature, something lots of us lost. The course is very well structured and easy to follow. It inspired me to create my own practices and I am very thankful the team of Treeming for the great job they are doing!
I was led to forest bathing by chance (now I know it was the call of the forest :-)). I was looking for something about Qigong... and Shinrin-yoku jumped out at me. I read a few books and felt the need to go deeper. Among the courses, Treeming appealed to me with its offer and my inner feeling. And I am very glad that I chose them. It is an amazingly elaborate course. Whether it is the background materials or the many video lessons (great job Jorg!), practical exercises or recommendations. From the beginning, it is clear that this is not about quickly printing certificates, but a real connection between you and nature. This course made me switch off and realize that we are not alone here, that we are part of larger communities. I learned to respect trees and other members of the forest community and I teach my children the same. As a benefit of the course, I can say that my husband's blood pressure decreased within 3 weeks and he had already been prescribed medication by a doctor before. Now he doesn't have to take any medication. So THANK YOU Treeming.org (and especially Jorg) for my husband, for my children and especially for saving me. I highly recommend this course to everyone! The course is well presented and contains lots of useful materials that gives you good understanding of the forest bathing practice and can prepare you to set up your own business. The trainer is very likable and knows how to keep students engaged. The customer support was also very helpful. I'm looking forward to start my Sinrin Yoku practice asap:)
I found this course to be generous, forward-thinking and open-ended in ways that are rarely found in professional education. The result has been a powerful personal experience of growth and expansion about forests and people, and how we connect. I had wanted to become a Forest Bathing Guide a few years ago, life got in the way, but earlier this year I felt even more drawn to it and decided to go for it. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the Treeming course exceed all my expectations. As I moved from one module to the next, with Jorg guiding the way, I found myself changing as a person and also becoming even more connected with nature. I would never have imagined an online course could be so inspiring and engaging. Today I led my first forest bathing session and the participants loved it.
