I bought my Veloped Trek a few weeks ago. I am, like many of your readers, a chronic osteoarthritis sufferer and thought my walking days were long over. My husband and I used to walk the hills of Wales and the glorious Cheshire countryside and I had, as my condition got worse, almost given up walking. I used two sticks but the pain just became too much . A friend of mine was off to Italy on holiday and said she was going to take her rollator so I decided I would investigate one for myself. On trawling through the internet I came across the Trionic site and my life has begun again. I watched the film clips of the lady walking through the woods and new I'd found what I'd been searching for. Thank you all at Trionic I now have my freedom again. I have been on several quite strenuous walks and find I am able to cope very well even on steep hills and bumpy surfaces. I really am overjoyed to be living a fairly active life again and to be able to keep up with my granddaughters, they think Nanna's 'chariot' is
very cool. There is just one thing that I think would improve matters and that is fitting a safety strap on the handle. They are mandatory in Australia now on all pushchairs, and slipped over the wrist can prevent the Veloped from running away in case of a fall. I have now purchased one from Boots and find it is an extra security measure when going down hill. Thank you for giving me my life back.
