I recently bought the Trionic Trek. I wanted to write a review so that it might help others decide. A few points:1/ I checked the size of the seat beforehand with them, but despite measuring my old walker and it being the same size, I found the Trionic to be too small breadth-wise to sit on.2/ The seat is not designed for comfort: The curved rail which is behind you once sat down is too far forward, and pushes you into a 'perch' rather than a 'sit'. For anyone with muscle weakness, like me, this is hard on the legs.3/ I have FND with a lot of muscle weakness. I found the Trek to be just too heavy to manoeuvre. For example, it didn't move easily from side to side easily. It's a bit of a monster :O)4/ It did arrive with a fault (one wheel had a bust inner tube) and due to waiting to get that to the garage and not being well, it took me 6 weeks to get out and try it.5/ I asked to return it and Trionic sent a terse reply, saying I was out-with the time for return (2 weeks) and saying 'Despite the fact that Great Britain have left the EU, we still offer a 14-day return policy for British customers, although the obligatory EU return policy no longer applies to the UK.' 6/ I have spent £900 on something I can't use and was defective on arrival. I just wanted to warn other buyers. This company are not into discussing ways to return an item.Could it be to do with Brexit and an underlying impatience with the UK? possibly, and understandable. But for a company which advertises itself as accessible and offering ways to better disabled people's lives, they sure are not open to caring about their customers.... not really.This is not to say that more able people will not enjoy the Trek, I can see it working really well for someone who needs gentle assistance walking and somewhere to store food and drink whilst they're out for a ramble. But this is not designed for very disabled people like me, who can walk a short way, but need easy manoeuverability and a good seat.Hope this helps :O)
