I booked an Egypt trip through TripToGo scheduled for March 9–17, 2026. Due to rapidly escalating regional tensions in the Middle East and multiple security alerts issued by U.S. embassies/US Security Department, I became concerned about the safety of traveling to the region at that time.My travel route involved flying through Jordan on Royal Jordanian Airlines, which raised additional concerns given the regional instability and potential airspace disruptions.I contacted TripToGo before the trip and respectfully requested to postpone the trip to a later date. I clearly explained that my request was not to cancel permanently but simply to delay travel until the situation became more stable.Unfortunately, TripToGo refused to offer any flexibility, postponement, or refund, despite the unusual geopolitical circumstances and legitimate safety concerns raised by a traveler. As a customer, I found this response disappointing and lacking empathy. In situations involving potential safety risks and government security alerts, I would expect a travel agency to work with customers to find a reasonable solution.I hope TripToGo will reconsider its approach to customer service and provide more flexibility when travelers face legitimate safety concerns outside of their control.
