Actually, I thought the idea of having hop on - hop off transportation was great. However, signing up for two senior riders wasn't possible. It kept saying 1 adult had to be added. We are adults so why wouldn't I be able to get discounts for two senior riders - that was frustrating. Then the day I purchased the tickets for, it rained and the only seats left were wet and cold and I wasn't about to sit on a wet seat in the rain for a tour around Vancouver Island. We had to walk all the way back from Chinatown to our hotel in the harbour. Thank goodness we brought our umbrellas, but the walk back caused my ankle to swell and my sister's knees to hurt. This was a surprise birthday trip for her and I hoped everything would have been perfect. So I know weather can't be helped, but a fully covered bus on a rainy day would be appreciated. We hardly got to see Victoria as planned, therefore only a 2 star rating is generous for Big Bus.
