I loooove the blanket but I'm not into the Hemp/Linen Duvet cover. The blanket is super well built, but the duvet cover made of hemp is extremely weak fabric to stand up to that -- I would've hoped for a thicker, slightly stiffer material. Instead, even with the ties to keep the duvet cover in place, it puffs out and bunches up in uncomfortable ways, and the fabric itself is not very soft to the touch. Considering that weighted blankets are often used as therapeutic tools for people with sensory difficulties, the hemp cover is a fairly disagreeable material and counteracts some of the benefits of the blanket. I'm considering returning the cover, as much as I appreciate having a layer to protect the blanket itself. The thread count is so low on the hemp cover, though (I can see through holes in the weave), I wonder if it's even effective as a protective barrier. The Bamboo cover might be a better option, I haven't tried it, but for the price of the Hemp cover it seems like a very unnecessary up-sell.
