Well, whilst you may strike lucky and be happy to give a 5* review when they ask, you could also seriously regret your decision! Read the shocking 1* reviews and the standard procedure for this shabby outfit will soon become evident, when they mess up they will deny, lie and even fabricate stories in order to avoid their liabilities as clearly described under their Terms & Conditions - they cannot be trusted!!My family recently had the unpleasant experience of Trunk Logistics' operatives causing damage to their property but when notified, the company chose not to be honest and professional but instead to lie and concoct a ridiculous story in an attempt to deflect responsibility. I would also add that their two operatives, Simon and Alfie, were also very eager to get away, as they had previously had a couple of late finishes, so much so they didn't fulfil the roll of unpacking which had been paid for as an extra - this unfortunately received yet another lying response from Trunk Logistics!To minimise the risk of damage to your property and goods by a company that will deny responsibility - avoid Trunk Logistics for your removals!A note for Trunk Logistics:-In your response you falsely allege:-'It seems that you chose to move the fridge yourself on the day of the move. One of our crew members was upstairs while the other was outside, and you were moving the fridge along the floor. When the crew came downstairs they assisted with the fridge and took over moving it by carrying it together'.Apart from you initially stating that one of the two crew members was outside but then alleging they both came from upstairs perhaps you could explain why the scratches are along the full length of the hall if your crew had intervened? Furthermore, its difficult to comprehend why having paid your company extra to do absolutely everything, including packing and unpacking, why the customer would involve himself in dragging the fridge out? Your response is shameful and damning!11.04.25 With regard to the response from Trunk Logistics:-How dismal, the usual sad format - act indignant, lie and blame the customer! You are clearly unable to respond to the discrepancies I have raised with regard to your account of the events and after all this time, the best you can do is compound your lies/deceit and attempt to besmirch my integrity. I would respectfully recommend you should heed your own advice regarding 'communication and feedback remain fair, respectful and based on facts'- which would address the common traits/pattern in your company's replies to it's other 1* reviews.My review was based on the experience of my family who, despite your allegation, were actually direct customers of Trunk Logistics, together with my personal experience - as I was at the new property from the time your crew arrived until their eager departure! Your assumption/accusation that I was encouraged by my family to leave a negative review is unfounded and incorrect. Furthermore, apart from those directly affected and myself, no other friends or family members have left negative reviews as you allege. My review arose in direct response to the dishonest/shocking way Trunk Logistics have lied to avoid liability and my view that potential customers of Trunk Logistics should be aware of what really lurks behind those 5* reviews and claims of professionalism!You appear to be pleading ignorance of your own T&Cs when you are fully aware the racket/scam regarding additional liability cover (which is a whole separate issue that should be reported to Trading Standards) to which you refer, only applies to goods - any damage caused to the premises is covered under clause 9 which is unequivocal in that Trunk Logistics are liable!Trunk Logistics have demonstrated throughout this saga and other 1* reviews that their policy, which has no limits, is always to deny the truth/facts, fabricate events and blame the customer, thus avoid complying with the T&Ss of their own contract - this will be further verified every time they mess up and receive another 1* review. They now find themselves in a game of roulette as they risk potential customers reading the 1* reviews and deciding to go elsewhere.
