ITALIANI, Fate attenzione!

Descrivo la situazione in inglese:Regarding our odyssey with Air Cairo, let me explain the situation: At Munich airport, we were denied boarding at the check-in counter (an Italian couple who attempted to check in before us, also TUI customers, hat the same problem and got stuck at the check-in. Another family of our region passed with only IDs - who knows why). The employee present on the counter informed us that we couldn't fly to Egypt without a passport and would face immediate deportation upon arrival. Only I have got a passport in our family; the other four people are traveling with ID cards only, as the other two travellers too. For 15 years, we, along with tens of thousands of other Italians, have been traveling to Egypt annually precisely because no passport is required due to an agreement between the EU and Egypt (previously a bilateral agreement between Italy and Egypt). An ID is sufficient. Obtaining a passport in Italy is very difficult, which is why most Italians have historically forgone it and have been traveling to destinations that don't require one for entry. After enduring a lengthy wait ( the Air Cairo employee kept us waiting for around 50 minutes, time that, of course, wasn't taken into account by us), the teenagers traveling with us and my mother began crying pitifully while the elderly couple panicked in front of the check-in counter. Nevertheless, we stood our ground, knowing that we only travel together as a family once a year due to my busy schedule as a attourney and my mother's infrequent ability to leave her business. Only when we sought assistance from the Bavarian police, our last hope in this grotesk situation caused by horrible service and incompetent and frustrated employees (we lost another 20 minutes), did the Air Cairo employee relent and suddenly claim she could check us in after all. Mockingly, she added, visibly satisfied: "You just won't make the departure in time." She falsely asserted that we would be fined upon arrival as we could only enter the country with ID cards. However, we all knew this wasn't true. Subsequently, we had to undergo passport control, which took some more time. As I passed quickly through the automatic entry with my passport (it was 12:55, and the flight was scheduled to depart at 13:05) I managed to delay boarding at the boarding-counter for a few minutes as the rest of the group still had to undergo manual checks. At 13:04, the others of my family and the two elderly gentlemen from Ortisei had yet to clear security. The boarding staff informed me that the flight had already been boarded. I was so overwhelmed at that moment that I struggled to breathe. Fortunately, the boarding staff took pity on me and managed to delay the departure a bit longer.Suddenly, my father, sister, and her boyfriend arrived at the counter. However, the other couple and my mother were nowhere to be found. Still gasping for breath, I hurried back to passport control. The elderly couple and my mother, who suffers from heart failure, couldn't keep up with our pace. I did my best to get them to the counter as swiftly as possible, and miraculously, thanks to the compassion of the boarding staff, we managed to board. Nonetheless, they warned us that our luggage might not arrive. I refuse to accept this treatment and this will definitely have consequences. We and others were treated like second-class citizens. I have never experienced anything like it before.
