If you get raped or stabbed while sleeping in your Hotel booked through TUI, TUI will kindly tell you its your own fault. TUI Group will claim no responsibility in an unforeseeable event. We stayed a week at Zafiro Palmanova, where me and my girlfriend was assaulted by a burglar while sleeping. I had to take care of the burglar and spend the rest of the night in the ambulance. Reception personal did not help, management at hotel has claimed we did not lock the terrace door (My brother had a burglar two days before me in the room next to us, here they also claimed they did not lock -- Who looks the door anyway when your neighbour is robbed a couple of days before?). TUI has now responded on our claim, telling us we did not lock door because the reception claims its not possible to lock up from outside and because their 20 year old tour guide has tried to open it up from the outside. Further they claim, because we did not contact TUI personnel when your burglar was taking our goods in the room, they have no responsibility. TUI says further that this was the first (ops.... first two) burglaries this season, but if you search the web there was more in february 2017 (and that is only the one who spends a saturday night on trip advisor). TUI sells us a holiday on a hotel with burglary after burglary and then when a burglar assaults a person sleeping so that this person never will walk normal again, they just say: Well, things happen. TUI is nothing but a scam, don't expect to get saved if you really need it, and at no circumstance expect their claim service to work (They will simply say, your fault and present you with claims they have no evidence for). TUI is nothing but a fraud.
