UAE Exchange / UAE Central Bank,What has been going on since February, is not right. Far from it actually.Blocking all remittances and refunds without any notifications whatsoever, is simply unimaginable. I have tried contacting UAE Exchange, but no proper result. I've tried calling UAE Central Bank but without answer, so I filed a complaint online. It's been accepted but no further action. I've contacted my own bank Emirates NBD and they have been cooperative and are 'looking into the matter' for two weeks now. I have no idea when I will have my money refunded or whether I will get it at all. What I also do not understand is how it is possible that we as hard-working people are the victims of other people's mismanagement and apparent fraud? I just want to have a proper response indicating what the current situation is, as I understand from other reviews, people are slowly getting their money back but is this even actually true? I will probably get the standard copy-paste answer but it's better than staying quiet.
