Ordered an uber at around 1am after a long day at work to get home. The driver chose a completely different route than usually in which a road was blocked. He refused to go around, got angry with me, so I had the get out of the car in the middle of the night and walk home. I was scared to argue with this guy so I just accepted the fact that I need to leave the car. I got in touch with the customer service, they apologized and returned the money. Couple of days later I receive a message from the customer service that the driver has filed a report AGAINST ME of verbal altercation (when in reality, I didn’t say a single word to him nor did I argue) and mentioned that if this happens again, my uber profile will be deleted. Absolutely ridiculous. Never seen customer service accusing their customers like this, especially in a situation where I felt fully unsafe and scared.
