Contacted about possible hair transplant. Was then phoned (by mobile numbers, which I didn't initially answer - this is definitely an area which UK Hair may want to consider changing). Did answer eventually and was given a clear and helpful overview of possible procedures. The next stage was being put in touch with one of the clinical advisers, Paul, who arranged to video chat over WhatsApp for about 15mins (having sent him pics beforehand). He assessed what could be done and gave some examples. I then decided to go ahead with an appointment with two of the UKHair team. This was £500 which was refundable if surgery didn't go ahead or I wasn't suitable. (I'd pay them £100 if I didn't go for my assessment). Paul sent an assessment email through with the pricing agreed over the video call. Was also told I'd be contacted by Chelsea, who would help me through surgery. She did contact a couple of times. At the assessment (which lasted around 30mins), they were very friendly and helpful and gave me an assessment of my hair (to see if it was possible) and took blood pressure etc. Answered any questions. The potential surgeon even came in to help briefly. Went away with a report emailed later. I actually then decided not to go through with the procedure for various reasons. The team cancelled my surgery and gave back my £500 (which I wasn't expecting). I decided to go for another option instead and a further member of the UKHair team called Jay put me in contact with someone who could do this. Also said I could message him with any questions any time. So yes, a positive experience. You will get lots of texts (!) and calls and a few emails. Yes I'm sure they are encouraged to 'sell' but I didn't feel pressurised or that they were only there to sell. As for whether you get a hair transplant or not, it's something only you can answer but I'd strongly suggest going with UKHair or someone like them who do what they say, are reputable and professional.
