I have just recently had my hair transplant and in such early days I feel happy I made the right decision. Even more so having it done in the UK and only 20mins drive from my home.I sent some Pictures of my hair line and had a free Zoom call with Nigel which was pleasant and answered any questions I had.Next stage I was happy to pay the £500 deposit to have a consultation with Paul at the clinic. I was Happy to lose only £100 if I decided to not go through with the procedure.This gave me peace of mind once the new hair line had been drawn on and my donor area inspected which gave me a positive outcome. I then knew roughly the cost and how many grafts I would need.During these past few months and leading upto my surgery, Patient co-ordinator Chelsea has been brilliant, in touch on many occasions and on the other end of the phone if I had any queries.Surgery Day 24th Jan 2024.I won’t lie I was very nervous and anxious on the day of the surgery, looking back now I had nothing to worry about. From the moment I met Dr Elgindi and his technicians Ali and Mollie, they made me feel at ease and reassured me that everything would be fine.Very professional and polite I may add.Dr Elgindi drew on my new hair line and I was happy to go with his experience, making a few alterations so that the hair line would look more natural this way.The only uncomfortable experience I had was the needles in the forehead and donor area for the anaesthetic. Which is understandable but bearable.After this I never felt a thing throughout the day.Dr Elgindi put a lot more grafts in than originally quoted which I was happy about, and this was at no extra cost.😊It’s been 3 days since surgery, I’m lucky to have had no swelling and had no pain whatsoever, which I was surprised about.The only issue I have had is lack of sleep due to sleeping upright.I have been using the aftercare pack provided and followed the step by step instructions which has helped.I am looking forward to seeing the changes over the coming months, also having the reassurance that I will be visiting the clinic after 6,12 & 18 months as part of the after care.I would highly recommend UK hair clinic Manchester if you are thinking about a transplant.
