I provided them with a comprehensive verbal briefing, a background pack up front, including Companies House data, known addresses, and context. I even did a follow up call with them to highlight my specific request for social media investigation.The report I received was late, padded, and regurgitated my own material — with no meaningful analysis or new information. It failed to verify employment, listed my own property as the subject’s “current address” (despite the person having vacated it), and missed a company I had already flagged. It included no social media content or digital footprint work.When I raised concerns, I received an aggressive and dismissive legal-style email claiming all expectations were “irrelevant in law” and trying to reframe this as mere “disappointment.” No refund was offered, just vague promises of more unspecified checks. Upon researching further, I discovered that other clients have reported similar issues with this firm, including unprofessional conduct and failure to deliver promised services. These patterns suggest that my experience was not an isolated incident.A deeply unprofessional service.
