After my thyroidectomy in '18, I have had routine lab work for my replacement thyroid hormone. The lab work became to expensive to afford even with insurance. I also like that I don't have to ask my doctor for permission to have lab work done. If I want to check on my heart or liver, I do it. If I want to check for infection or see if my electrolytes are balanced, I do it. I can order any test I want. The only limitation is money.... and if my body can actually give that much blood, lol. I also really appreciate that there is always a coupon code in my email for a percentage off the test(s). It may not seem like a lot comes off for 1 or 2 tests, but if you have a battery of tests, that coupon could be over $100 off. I love Ulta Lab Tests and I don't see myself every going back to conventional lab work through a Dr visit and insurance.
