I graduated from UMA with my Associates in Medical Admin Assistant back in 2018. I honestly thought that after obtaining my degree I would land a job in the medical field. Here it is seven years later, I have yet to get any type of job utilizing my degree. I have applied at so many hospitals and private facilities but no one has given me an chance to even interview. When I did speak to career services at UMA I was advised that bc I don't have the experience, it would be hard for my to even interview. Totally insane to have obtained a degree but no job due to no experince in the field. I have reached out to UMA career services on numerous occasions and they never return emails nor calls so I decided to stop reacing out to them. I recently decided to start reaching back out to them with still no luck. I feel like this was a complete waste of my time and money and I would advise other to look else where.
