I researched Music distributors for…

I researched Music distributors for weeks straight. I was excited finding out about these guys, but skeptical, and perhaps didn't trust my own judgement. Unchained claims to have an innovative model where they can offer free music distribution, forever, as long as we relinquish our first $30 in royalties. This I was told, meant over 220 stores, including YouTube contentID once we pass upload requirements. On a hunch that it would not in fact work out like that, I emailed them before starting, SEVERAL emails to customer service to clarify the meaning of all this, namely, if it included contentID. After days of waiting, they simply bounced me back to their FAQ page riddled with grammar errors. I studied it closely. I asked them if ContentID was included, and they lied through omission by being cute in a word game, by saying not at first but as long as I passed 3 uploads requirement. It was clearly the time to tell me "it will cost money" and they opted to let it be interrupted as it would be free. I passed those requirements. They later claimed this meant albums, not songs. It's not even relevant at this point, because when I clearly had asked them if it was included as free, they didn't tell me it was part of a paid move until days later after my album launched. Classic bait-and-switch? They sprung that on me after 30+ emails back and forth with them, and 5 attempts to launch my album with their buggy interface. The CEO told me post-hoc that they were having problems with the third party vendor that operates ContentID for them, and that they would need to make it a paid service. But that conflicts with "free forever" listed on their website, as well, me asking "is contentID a free service?" and them deliberately not telling me then, that no, it is not in fact a free service. I didn't just run to TrustPilot, I asked them over and over again to clarify what my misunderstanding was of the appearance that they roped me in, and how they could make it right, and they offered me an insulting year free which I begrudgingly did take, when I had already effectively been told it was free for life. I emailed with them trying to work with them over all this, offered to help them market the site, etc. I didn't want to be an entitled kind of person, and really wanted to see them take higher ground on this. Alas, the CEO refused to own up to the companies' error in effectively telling me ContentID was free, and instead seemingly was slippery about it in emails back to me. (Slippery like, trying to quote me out of context, not answering my question etc.)
