My mig is about 15 yo now with only half a roll of wire put through it. Im too afraid to use it as it will end up back getting repaired. I was told circuit boards were getting low so maybe none left now. Recently i tried to set it up for tig welding. Another disappointing experience. Unimig had difficulties recommending the correct torch. After purchasing 3 torchs i finally have one that works. I had to buy a backup, an ancient 180a unit for $100. This is my main use welder as it just keeps on performing. My unimig cost me $1,400 back then. Severely disappointed.
