Unique Himalaya is a recently established agency founded by a guide with an extensive trekking experience on the roof of the world. He employs his younger brother to accompany trekkers in the field. My sister and I decided to trust Megendra GIRI, and we don't regret our choice. Of course, there are some shortcomings inherent to a young company. But our guide, Mankumar, and our porter, Gopal, did an excellent job. The sense of security and kindness of this team accompanied us throughout our adventure and gave us the courage to reach the Larke Pass on the Manaslu Circuit and then descend back into the valley.
