We stayed two nights at Orla with our dog and firstly I was impressed by how comprehensive the information was in the field guide. No unanswered question. When we arrived, the cabin was clean and inviting and all the home comforts and necessities were provided to make our stay most enjoyable. It was super private and had beautiful views over the hills. We loved having the campfire and being able to bring our dog was a bonus. We all loved soaking up the stillness and calm and enjoying nature.
I needed a reset and break from work and reality and Wilma in WA did not disappoint! They were so clean well presented and I had the most magical stay and sleep! I was blessed with wonderful sunsets, kookaburras and kangaroos. Will be sure to book again
We spent three drizzly days at Sufjan snacking and playing chess outside the reach of mobile phones, surrounded by rolling hills and happy cows. Our “spicy” Unyoked was just far enough off the beaten path to encourage us to stay in (the walk was actually very manageable) and for that I am so grateful. The cabin itself was tidy, simple, well-appointed and had beautiful views both day and night (stars!). I’d encourage everyone who can to get away and give it a go, I’m certainly looking forward to the next one!
Stayed at Flint, it was the complete reset get away I needed. I was by myself and the area around the cabin had me keep looking out those amazing windows all the time. From the mist that came in after it had been raining to the stunning sunset, to the wildlife that wandered around it was just perfect. A few little things that need refreshing to return it to what it would have started out like would allow me to give 5 stars. But please do give it a go….best experience for a solo trip. Ready to face reality again!
Stayed at Jazz cabin for four nights in April - this was a fern gully fantasy. Beautiful stream with small waterfall, wooden bridge, completely private surrounded by fern and vine covered trees. Relax in the hammock, or cosy in the cabin with lush green views.Apparently two other cabins on the site - you wouldn’t know.Shower was hot and lush, composting toilet was fine, easy to use stove and sink for washing up. Bar fridge has tiny freezer space, was packed for four nights of food but just fit. No balcony cover if it rains but the big cabin windows provide a view as if you’re outside. No phone reception really, town very close by with reception and everything you need. Watch out for leeches and tics - there were heaps as it was a rainy wet time. It would be a hot cabin in summer but autumn was lovely.
We stayed at Gili in flinders lakes Queensland & we absolutely loved it. The space, clean air, comfy cabin and surrounding bush provided a sense of calm and peace for our 2 night getaway. We love that this cabin is doggo friendly too, as we love holidays with our pup!
