Wonderful experience staying in Maynard in Hampshire, UK. It was so peaceful, the cabin had everything I needed but nothing superfluous. Wish I could have stayed for longer. Unyoked were super responsive to my messages when I needed anything.Only quibble is that after I had issues locking the lock box on the final night - no problem with that, things happen -I contacted Unyoked. I found a solution to locking the door while I slept, but before that, the Unyoked staff member had suggested that I’d be fine sleeping with the door unlocked as the estate was ‘safe and secure’. This was despite me being a female travelling alone, and the estate being completely open, no fences around it, having a lot of other neighbouring residences around it, and having multiple public footpaths running through it. I didn’t feel at all unsafe the whole time I was there, and I’m sure wouldn’t have faced any issues if it had been unlocked, but I still felt it wasn’t very responsible advice from the company to tell a single female traveller that the security situation was better than it was and suggest sleeping with the door unlocked.But it was only a tiny thing, and found another solution (hence leaving 5 stars not 4) and everything else was great.
Our Unyoked nature escapes have truly become a staple for us, we now book at least two weekends away every year, and after visiting four different cabins over the past two years, we can confidently say we are completely hooked! My partner and I cannot recommend Unyoked enough. As a younger couple who love the idea of getting off-grid but don’t have the setup or gear for traditional camping, Unyoked offers the absolute perfect balance. The cabins are beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need - without taking away from the immersive nature experience. Every stay feels effortless and stress-free, allowing us to truly switch off, slow down, and reconnect with nature (and each other). From the secluded locations to the small details inside the cabins, it’s clear how much care and intention goes into every Unyoked experience. It’s become our go-to way to reset, recharge, and escape the noise of everyday life. 💛
Fun adventure!!! Great directions and info sheets, they provide all the answers before you think of them and they're easily accessible if you choose an off the grid location. Cosy and warm space, again everything is thought of for you!! Absolutely recommend
Lovely time at Axel.There’s an amazing sense of space with only sheep and pheasants in close vicinity.We brought our two year old who adored this and there was ample roomIn the king sized bed.Despite feeling away from it all, there is an amazing farm shop only 20mins drive so we had ample provisions and could get the pizza oven going.We will be back again as soon as we can.
Had a wonderful stay at Selina with an incredible view of Mount Maroon in QLD. So much thought has clearly gone into the cabins, with everything you need sorted as soon as you arrive.We were originally booked at another cabin, but were switched a couple days beforehand due to unforeseen circumstances with the host. Eloise from Unyoked informed us immediately and recommended Selina instead (said it was her personal favourite) plus threw in a Worries, Sorted package in for free which we really appreciated.Wish we had more than the 2 nights, it was incredible seeing the stars at night and being out in nature! Thank you again :)
Lovely stay at Josef in South Downs, surrounded by the trees and greenery. Kitchen had all the necessities, hot shower was great, the bedding very soft. The cabin itself beautifully designed and clean. Wifi worked for me on the cabin terrace and around the cabin.Would highly recommend Unyoked!
I stumbled upon Unyoked through Instagram posts and Yonder. I’d been secretly craving a social detox and knew I had to book a getaway. I stayed in Flint, Norfolk, UK, and the experience was nothing short of heavenly—it met all my expectations.The cabin was comfortable, yet offered just the right balance to fully enjoy the surrounding nature. The weather was lovely, and I especially enjoyed cooking over the fire.I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to detox from the 9–5 grind.
