After 8 years with square and using squareup for payroll, suddenly I was not able to "ADD FUNDS" anymore to pay my employees. The feature has been completely removed. I spent two hours on the phone with departments transferring me back and forth over and over to no avail. They either were confused about what I was saying, or gave me a weird reason why it would happen. For instance, they suggested that it may be because my Square card was deactivated TWO years ago! Not sure why that would effect me today when I just used the ADD FUNDS feature last week when I ran payroll last week. Customer service is an absolute nightmare. I am so disappointed in Square. They are useless.
