First off I would like to be clear that the absolute one and only reason that I am giving this company one star is simply because it will not allow me to give zero ! I want to warn anyone that is considering using this app please DON’T especially if you are a new small business! They will absolutely screw you and then not give you any answers or reasons why! I started a new account with square for my brand new business that I just have started so that I could take card payments! And the very first customer that I had wanted to pay my invoice (used square for my invoices as well) a payment of which was to cover the cost of parts for the repairs my customer needed on there machines. So the customer made the payment to me through square and I received an email from square stating that the payment was successfully processed and would be available in my square balance immediately but it wasn’t! So I waited and waited and nothing still not showing up in my balance! Then all of the sudden I receive an email stating that my account had been deactivated and that the full amount of the payment that had been made would be placed on a 90 day hold with absolutely no reason given whatsoever ! With this being my first customer and first payment this was devastating news that crippled my business and not only hurt me personally but hurt my business and relationship with this customer very badly! I stayed on the phone for two days with square just to be transferred from one person to the next receiving the same answer from every single person I spoke with ( sorry we’re not able to give you a reason as to why your account was deactivated or why there was a 90 day hold placed on the ACH payment that was made) and (sorry but we aren’t able to see the reason why or give you any answers) not only did they refuse to give me any explanation at all but they also refused to offer any help or guidance or tell me anything at all that I could do to help my situation! This app is a scam and an absolute joke and is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had with any company ever ! So if you are considering using this app I am warning you do yourself a favor and don’t ! Take the time to find another company that doesn’t cripple small businesses and then not give an explanation of why!
