Frustrating to say the least.

I have used Square for over 7 years. At first I thought it was great that they offer loans based on card transactions. The repayment terms are rough because they take 20 percent of daily sales which sometimes meant $600 to $900 pulled from my account in a single day. The week ending Aug. 3rd, I paid $2,499.79. In July, I paid $4,520.35. That defeats the purpose of a loan when it puts you in a bind to pay it back.What really pushed me away was my first chargeback in 7 years. A dishonest customer disputed a job after I provided multiple documents that proved the work was done. Square only allows 6 uploads and I filled them with solid evidence. When the decision came back the bank sided with the customer. I checked my dashboard and discovered Square only sent 2 of the 6 documents I provided. No wonder I lost. To make it worse I cannot even see which 2 they sent. Square lost the dispute for me.This showed me Square does not care about their merchants at all and only cares about the fees they collect. Once my loan is paid off I will be switching to a merchant account through my bank where I will have real support and control. Square has permanently lost my business and I will be warning every business owner I know about my experience.Edit in reply to Square:I did reach out. Your team basically told me to pay up and deal with it. When I contacted you I had already paid back more than $8,000 since May. As of last night my dashboard shows I have repaid $12,670. That is in less than five months.Your replies come across like you care but in reality they are dismissive and scripted. You talk in circles instead of actually helping.As for the dispute you absolutely do control what you send the banks. You left out more than half of my documentation. That is not something out of your hands. That is a choice and it cost me.I will be filing formal complaints with every agency I can. This will not stop here. I am not someone who lets this kind of thing go.
